LA/OC Alternative Energy Meetup & Long Beach Spanish Language Meetup are co-hosting a mixer/fundraiser at "Viento Y Agua" Cafe in Long Beach. They're raising funds to bring solar energy to a school in the rural community of El Pedregal, Nicaragua -- a community which currently has no electricity.
Live music, raffle, silent auction, and of course wonderful specialty coffees, smoothies, and baked treats!
$10 suggested donation. All proceeds from donations, silent auction, and raffle will directly benefit the school.
